We use the ALL-ON-6 procedure (also known as Pro Arch or the „Tooth in 1 Hour“ / „fixed teeth in an hour“ procedure) for patients who are edentulous in one or both jaws or who have only a few severely damaged teeth remaining. In most cases, these patients are troubled by the fact that their appearance is marred by unsightly dentures, or that they can no longer eat everything they would like to, as poorly fitting dentures or loose teeth prevent them from doing so.
The method is particularly appreciated by patients who are heavily involved in their work and patients who cannot or do not want to allow themselves long absenteeism.
The advantage of the ALL-ON-6 procedure is that, with a minimum of six interconnected implants per jaw, a fixed bridge can be fitted immediately after the removal of teeth that cannot be preserved. This usually means that a temporary restoration is not required, saving the patient a considerable amount on the cost of temporary dentures (approx. 1,500 Swiss francs per jaw).
Thanks to a special insertion technique for the implants and 3-dimensional computer-aided planning, this can also be carried out in patients with severe bone loss (e.g. due to years of wearing a full denture or an accident), who otherwise could only be provided with complex bone structures.
As with standard implants, the implants used in the ALL-ON-6 procedure are made of high-purity titanium oxide, the same material used in knee and hip replacements. The material is highly biocompatible, extremely durable and very well tolerated.
Bridges screwed onto the implants consist of a titanium or all-ceramic framework precision-made in the dental laboratory and natural-looking ceramic teeth.
The cost of one jaw is around CHF 20,000. For full denture wearers who want firm teeth again, we can often even offer a price of CHF 19,000 per jaw.
