When
We use the Injex System with patients who are afraid of needles (so-called “needle phobia”). In many cases it can replace the conventional syringe.
How
Instead of a needle, the Injex system has a soft, sterile pillow made of medical silicone at the end. There is a micro-hole in this cushion through which a tiny jet of the local anesthetic is brought under the oral mucosa at very high pressure.

The cost of local anesthesia with the Injex system does not cost more than normal local anesthesia.
