As we are there for you 365 days a year, we also offer appointments on Saturdays from 8 am to 3 pm. We also offer an appointment on Sundays from 12 noon to 3 pm. Emergency service for emergency dentist appointments. This service is particularly important for pain patients.

Regular professional dental hygiene as a supplement to personal dental care offers the best protection for your dental health. Our dental hygienists are trained at the Higher College of Dental Hygiene in Zurich (PZZ and Careum) or Bern (Medi Bern) and always have their finger on the pulse.

Healing is good, prevention is better: Dental hygiene treatments help reduce the risk of tooth decay and periodontitis and maintain dental health. The professional tooth cleaning and prophylaxis is carried out by our well-coordinated team of dental hygienists and prophylaxis assistants.

Every treatment at ZurichDental is tailored to your individual needs and lifestyle. A dental cleaning must be tailored to your age, your personal risk and your daily oral hygiene. Together with you, we develop a treatment plan that is optimally tailored to your everyday life and habits.
This is how we proceed
Before each treatment, you will be informed about all the steps in detail. This creates a pleasant and trusting feeling that helps to reduce fears. We attach great importance to thorough, but above all painless, tooth cleaning. To do this, we use hand instruments, powder jet devices and gentle ultrasound systems. After each tooth cleaning, we polish and remineralize your teeth.
Dental cleaning costs
How much does a dental cleaning in Zurich cost? The cost of a dental cleaning at ZurichDental is as follows: A regular dental cleaning for patients with healthy gums takes about 1 hour and costs CHF 159 with a prophylaxis assistant. If you have very little tartar and discolouration, a half-hour appointment is also possible for CHF 89.
Costs of gum therapy
Dental cleaning below the gums, as required for periodontitis, is carried out exclusively by specialised dental hygienists. The hourly rate for periodontitis therapy is CHF 179*.
Each of the dental hygienists and prophylaxis assistants has many years of knowledge and is characterized by great know-how and sensitivity.
*The "workplace disinfection" item introduced by the Swiss Society of Dental Medicine (SSO) in 2018 is charged additionally per session. In return, every instrument you use is demonstrably digitally sterile throughout the entire hygiene chain.
